BOROFLOAT® 33 GLASS
BOROFLOAT® 33 is a high-quality borosilicate glass renowned for its exceptional properties and versatile applications.
It is manufactured by using the advanced micro-float process and cutting-edge technology. This method ensures uniform glass quality, delivering a mirror-like pristine surface, outstanding flatness, and excellent optical performance.
BOROFLOAT® 33:
· Superior light transmittance, extremely low fluorescence intensity, and high transmission rates for both UV and infrared wavelengths
· Exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion, outstanding thermal shock resistance, and long-term service temperatures up to 450°C
· Excellent chemical durability, with high resistance to water, strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents
· Outstanding scratch resistance, exceptional hardness, and a density approximately 20% lower than conventional soda-lime glass
· Very low alkali content, making it an excellent electrical insulator
N-BK7 GLASS
N-BK7 is a high-quality optical glass developed and manufactured by SCHOTT (Germany). It is widely used in various visible and short-wave infrared applications. Compared to similar optical glasses, its key advantages include:
High performance at low cost
Excellent material homogeneity
High refractive index uniformity
Low stress birefringence
Minimal bubbles and striations
N-BK7 features a relatively low transition temperature (typically below 550°C), which helps extend mold lifespan and reduces pressing cycle times. Additionally, it exhibits minimal chemical reactivity with mold materials within the molding temperature range.
EAGLE XG GLASS
EAGLE XG is a high-quality alkali-free glass substrate formed using the overflow downdraw method, offering excellent surface accuracy. It is free from potassium, sodium ions, and other impurities, making it a crucial glass raw material for the electronics and optoelectronics industries. Additionally, it contains no arsenic, antimony, barium, or halides.
This glass features low density, high chemical durability, and thermal stability, with a visible light transmittance of up to 92%, excellent flatness, and alkali-free properties, ensuring no alkali ion leaching. It is widely used in TFT-LCD display substrates, polycrystalline silicon solar cell substrates, and the optical coating industry.
Advantages:
a) Outstanding thermal resistance
b) High optical transmittance
c) Excellent surface accuracy (flatness)
d) Superior chemical stability
e) Alkali-free (no alkali ion leaching)
